Students Make a Difference for Deployed Troops
Westminster Youth Advisory Panel and Soldier’s Angels gave us opportunity to send treats and Thank You messages to our troops. Our service men and women give up so much for us. I believe that it’s important that we take every opportunity to give back. It’s amazing how grateful students are … sometimes we just need an avenue to express our thanks!

This is such a meaningful and thoughtful way of showing support to our troops. Chloe and her friends are truly an inspiration to us all. Thanks for expanding what you learn as a school community to the world community. We are really proud of you!
Hi Chloe
Whoa, your blog is really impressive! I feel like my blog is a 1 in comprison to a yours, which is a 7 (hehe, I’m using an IB marking scheme).
I’m guessing (correct me if I’m wrong) that being part of the ‘Westminster Youth Advisory Panel and Soldier’s Angels’ gives you CAS hours, right?
ibstudent 2011,
Yes, being apart of those organizations does help me receive CAS hours; they are especially helpful with service hours =D.
Thank you for posting this and taking time to send your care packages to the troops. My fiance is in the army and I love hearing about youth’s actions of gratitude for the military’s service to our country.
Rochelle,
Thanks for the comment. I wish the best for your husband and thank him for his contributions to our country. The United States wouldn’t be the great nation that it is without the support of and protection given by our troops.
Thank you.
