Chloe

You might think the name is trendy, but I was actually named after my great, great, great, great, great grandmother Chloe Farley Dillon.  She was married to Samuel Dillon who served  in the military in 1783 in Montgomery County, VA. .  Samuel was a Revolutionary War Veteran. He was listed as a private in the 1783 Militia list in Montgomery County, VA, with Capt. George Pearis, Commanding Officer.

It’s cool to be able to trace your genealogy back to pre-Revolutionary War America.  I wonder how Chloe and Samuel would feel about how our governement is trying to establish hegemony, running roughshod over the Constitution, and interfering in our economy to the point where we appear to be socialists?
