When I turned 13, my mom gave me two books that changed my life.  They were Samuel A. Burchers Jr.’s Vocabulary Cartoons I & II for SAT word power.  The books are fun and make SAT words easy to remember.  

Part of being in debate is knowing exactly the right word to capture an argument, and thanks to Mr. Burcher, the right word is always on the tip of my tongue.

If you’d like to enhance you vocabulary, buy these books and study.  They are worth every cent!
