Archbishop Desmond Tutu speaks to the PYIC at President Obama’s Inauguration
I didn’t know much about Nobel Prize Winner Archbishop Desmond Tutu prior to the Presidential Youth Inaugural Conference (PYIC), but he turned out to be my favorite speaker. He was hilarious and very good at conveying his message that we are all very special people. He reminded us that the younger generation makes change possible. We shouldn’t listen to “old fogies like him.” We should see the world for its possibilities and make the world a better place.
You can see his speech, below … the video is a little choppy, but the sound is really good:
Chloe! How cool. Thanks for sharing. This is quite the website you have. Would you show me your internet knowhow sometime? I wanna learn more about youtube and creating my own websites. And I found Tutu’s book. God Has a Dream: A Vision of Hope for our Time.
Thank you! I would be happy to show you what I know about the internet. But I didn’t build this site … I outsourced the development to Ray Goins at ray@stopdev.com, he helped me set up this site starting with a free Wordpress template. (His rates are really reasonable and he’s very good.)
